Freudenberg: Sealing Solutions

Coping with rough ambient conditions, offering reliability and maximum protection, e. g. of roller bearings – the challenges facing sealing systems for the metal processing industry are enormous.

To seal automatic gauge cylinders, Freudenberg has developed sealing systems consisting of the rod seal Omegat OMK-MR and the piston seal OMS-MR, the double wiper PT 2 and Guivex guide bands. The Merkel Radiamatic RHS 51 is excellently suited for sealing the back-up rolls at high circumferential speeds. The shaft seal, designed for oil-lubricated bearings, is used in conjunction with the newly developed Merkel Enviromatic deflector. Merkel Radiamatic RPM 41 is the best choice for work rolls: an innovative shaft seal for a wide range of diameters, from 200 mm to 1000 mm without additional mold cost.
